University Medical Associates, the physician group of the MUSC Medical Center, provides services ranging from prevention and wellness to highly specialized care at outpatient clinics and facilities both on the MUSC campus and extending into the community. UMA has the widest range of specialty care available at any medical center in South Carolina.

University Medical Associates (UMA) is committed to providing superior, comprehensive and multispecialty health care to the citizens of South Carolina.
UMA serves as a resource to attract and support a superior clinical faculty for the education and training of undergraduate and graduate medical and health-related professionals. UMA strives to operate as a multispecialty group practice to further patient care, medical education and research.
UMA engages in charitable programs related to the mission of the Medical University of South Carolina. UMA is also committed to the expansion of its resources through a financial structure that ensures quality and the ability to meet its mission.
