Use simple color schemes. Don't create a page where color is the only method of emphasis. These types of schemes limit access to people that cannot clearly distinguish different colors. Never use flashing elements on your page, these can cause seizures in some individuals. When using data tables on your page, keep it simple. The more complicated the table, the more cumbersome it is for those using assistive technology to decipher the information. |
